British Life Journal aims to publish content that is accurate, useful and fair to the people, places, brands and subjects we cover.
Because some details may change over time, we may update published articles when new information becomes available, when details change or when clearer wording would improve the reader experience.
Requesting a Correction
If you believe an article contains a factual error, please contact us with the article title, link and a clear explanation of the issue.
Helpful information may include:
- The article title
- The article link
- The specific detail you believe is incorrect
- The correct information, where available
- Any relevant source, document or supporting link
How We Review Requests
Correction and update requests are reviewed at editorial discretion. We may check the original article, supporting information, public sources, contributor input or other relevant details before deciding whether a change is needed.
Not every request will result in an update. We may decline requests that relate to personal preference, promotional wording, subjective opinion or details that cannot be reasonably verified.
Updates to Published Articles
British Life Journal may update articles to correct factual information, add context, refresh outdated details, improve clarity or reflect changes to events, venues, brands, travel information or other time-sensitive subjects.
Minor edits, such as formatting, grammar or style improvements, may be made without a formal note.
Where a significant correction or update is made, we may add a note to the article where appropriate.
Opinion and Personal Perspectives
Opinion pieces, personal essays and contributor articles reflect the views of the named author or contributor. However, factual details within these articles may still be reviewed if a clear issue is raised.
